This PRIVACY POLICY is an integral part of the TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE of the website
(eb2026.com.br) and describes how DEBRA BRASIL, a private legal entity registered under CNPJ No.
22.177.286/0001-18, headquartered at Rua Doutor Pedro Zimmermann, 7190 – apt 02, the sole and
exclusive owner of the domain debrabrasil.com.br, collects, stores, uses, processes, associates, protects,
shares, and handles your information, including your personal data.
Through this PRIVACY POLICY, you will be informed about how to access, correct, update, manage, and
delete your personal data.
This Privacy Policy has been drafted in accordance with Brazilian law, including but not limited to Law No.
12.965/14 (“Marco Civil da Internet”), its regulatory decree (Decree No. 8.771/2016), and Law No.
13.709/18 (“General Data Protection Law” or “LGPD”).
It is important to note that DEBRA is a private association with activities and focus on human health,
organizing events for its clients (the “USER”).
Reading and accepting this PRIVACY POLICY is a necessary and indispensable requirement for using the
services of the website eb2026.com.br and for participating in the related event. It will be very diicult or
even impossible for DEBRA BRASIL to oer its services for event participation if you refuse to allow DEBRA
BRASIL to collect and process your data.
DEBRA uses the collected data to provide, maintain, protect, and improve the overall quality of its services.
The data collection also serves to protect DEBRA and its USERS. DEBRA does not collect more data than
necessary to fulll these purposes.
All capitalized words in this document have the meaning attributed to them in Section 1 of the TERMS OF
USE.
1. INFORMATION COLLECTED AND PURPOSE
1.1. To participate in the INTERNATIONAL DEBRA CONGRESS, you must register on the website
eb2026.com.br, operated by HBA through the form available on the event's site.
1.2. Before completing registration, interested parties must conrm that they accept and agree with the
PRIVACY POLICY available on the website eb2026.com.br. Once registration is completed, USERS
acknowledge and consent to the collection, use, storage, and processing of their data by DEBRA.
1.3. After registering, and submitting the personal information described in item 1.1 above, the USER will
receive login credentials to access the HBA platform. This password is personal and non-transferable, and
the USER is solely responsible for its safekeeping and condentiality.
1.4. The collection and use of USERS’ personal data by DEBRA are intended to:
(i) Assist and complete registration for participation in the INTERNATIONAL EB CONGRESS 2026;
(ii) Enable credential delivery by the PARTNER, allowing access to the event’s facilities and booths;
(iii) Improve commercial and promotional initiatives and analyze visited pages and searches to enhance
content and services;
(iv) Send messages about new events, services, advertisements, promotions, banners, and DEBRA BRASIL
news. USERS can opt out at any time by clicking the UNSUBSCRIBE option at the bottom of the email or
contacting atendimento.eb2026@debrabrasil.com.br;
(v) Share USER registration data with service providers and event exhibitors to enhance or facilitate
operations at the EVENT (e.g., credentialing, booth services, payment, server storage, etc.);
(vi) Communicate content updates (e.g., newsletters) about the EVENT.
1.5. The USER hereby authorizes DEBRA BRASIL to send emails, text/voice messages, SMS, or phone calls
(landline or mobile) to the number provided during registration regarding website updates or EVENT
information.
1.5.1. The USER may unsubscribe from any email list by clicking the unsubscribe link in the message. This
will not aect or prevent the USER from using the website eb2026.com.br.
1.5.2. Deletion and removal from the database may not occur immediately due to server updates. If the
process takes longer than expected, the USER may contact DEBRA BRASIL via email:
atendimento.eb2026@debrabrasil.com.br.
1.6. Under no circumstances will USER personal data be disclosed or sold to third parties, except:
(i) by court order;
(ii) in strict compliance with legal obligations;
(iii) to enable registration and participation in the EVENT via eb2026.com.br;
(iv) with DEBRA BRASIL group companies, including parent companies, subsidiaries, and ailiates;
(v) with the consent of the data subject, as described in this Privacy Policy or future specic consent;
(vi) in the event of a change in ownership or control of DEBRA BRASIL due to merger, acquisition, or sale of
assets.
2. AUTHORIZATION FOR IMAGE, SOUND, AND VOICE USE
2.1. By participating in the event, individuals authorize, free of charge and without any form of
compensation, the use, reproduction, modication, and transmission of their image, voice, and any
recordings (photo, video, audio) made at the event by DEBRA BRASIL or its partners/providers, in any known
or future media, especially social media and oicial websites, for the duration of the media usage.
3. COOKIES AND THIRD-PARTY TARGETED ADVERTISING
3.1. The EVENT WEBSITE may use cookies to improve USER navigation and recognize returning users.
Cookies are small text les stored in internet browsers, allowing the identication of USERS and
personalization of content without storing personal data.
3.2. USERS can reject or block cookies via browser settings. Blocking cookies may limit personalization
features and restore preferences on the website.
4. DATA SHARING
4.1. Personal information will only be shared with event exhibitors and service providers as needed to
operate the site and EVENT, as outlined in item 1.4 (iv and v). The USER explicitly consents to this sharing.
4.2. DEBRA BRASIL only shares information with third parties under condentiality agreements.
4.3. Exhibitor access to barcode data printed on the USER’s credential is only allowed with in-person USER
consent at the time of collection.
5. DATA SECURITY
5.1. DEBRA BRASIL stores data on an external cloud server operated by a PARTNER and states it employs
appropriate security practices including access controls, encryption (at rest and in transit), SSL
implementation, rewalls, and international protocols.
5.2. Despite these measures, the system is not fully immune to third-party attacks (e.g., hackers).
Therefore, DEBRA BRASIL cannot guarantee absolute security. It will not be held responsible for breaches
resulting from malicious third-party actions if it has taken all reasonable precautions.
5.3. Security measures apply only from the moment DEBRA BRASIL collects and controls the data. Device
and internet network security is not DEBRA BRASILs responsibility.
5.4. Personal data is stored in a restricted-access database with authorized personnel under condentiality
obligations.
6. DATA MANAGEMENT AND DELETION
6.1. The USER may request access, update, correction, or full/partial deletion of their personal data
through a restricted area on the website. Full deletion will prevent continued use of the website, as
minimum data is required for service operation.
6.2. Even after account deletion, DEBRA BRASIL may retain USER data where legally permitted or required,
especially if obligations remain with DEBRA BRASIL or its PARTNERS.
6.3. Data will be retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to queries, resolve issues, or
meet legal obligations, with a maximum retention period of ve years, unless a dierent legal requirement
applies.
7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
7.1. DEBRA BRASIL reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy. In case of signicant changes (i.e., that
reduce USER rights), USERS will be informed in advance via the website and/or direct communication.
