RoboCup 2025 Participation Agreement: Acknowledgment of Risks and

Consent

By following these steps and providing your consent, you help us ensure a smooth

registration process and compliance with legal requirements. Please note that your consent

is voluntary, and you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. However,

withdrawal of consent may affect your ability to participate in RoboCup 2025.

If you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact the

event organizers.

Acknowledgment of Risks and Terms of Participation at RoboCup 2025, Salvador,

Brazil

By participating in RoboCup 2025, including RoboCupJunior, you acknowledge and accept

the inherent risks associated with the event's activities, which may include but are not limited

to hypothermia, broken bones, and heat exhaustion. You are responsible for ensuring that

you have the necessary skills and training for the activities you engage in. The Local

Organizing Committee, RoboCup Brasil, and the RoboCup Federation do not guarantee the

competency or condition of any participant or organizer.

You are permitted to enter only designated areas. You also accept sole responsibility for

safeguarding your property, such as laptops and robotics devices, and assume all risks

related to leaving such property unattended. Adherence to the rules at all venues hosting

RoboCup 2025 is mandatory and forms an integral part of this notice.

I confirm that I have read and fully understood this notice. I am aware that participating in

RoboCup 2025 may involve risks of physical harm and damage to personal belongings. I

acknowledge and accept all risks of injury, including death, that may occur during or as a

result of my participation in any activity or program associated with RoboCup 2025 or while

traveling to and from such activities. I understand the recommendation to have accident and

health insurance for my participation and acknowledge that I am solely responsible for any

health and medical costs that may arise.

Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement

I acknowledge that certain activities on RoboCup 2025 may carry inherent risks of injury. I

willingly assume all risks associated with my participation. In exchange for being allowed to

engage in these activities, I agree to release the Local Organizing Committee, the RoboCup

Federation, their members, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, demands,

rights, and causes of action of any kind or nature, arising from any known or unknown,

foreseen or unforeseen bodily and personal injuries, property loss or damage, and the

consequences thereof that may result from my participation in any way with such programs

and activities.

I understand that accepting this release and covenant not to sue the Local Organizing

Committee or the RoboCup Federation does not constitute a waiver, in whole or in part, of

sovereign or official immunity by said Board, its members, officers, agents, sponsors, and

employees. I confirm that I am of legal age and capacity, have read this agreement

thoroughly, and understand its contents.

I, the undersigned, at this moment, provide my consent and agree to the terms outlined

above. I release and discharge all associated parties from any claims related to personal

injury, property damage, or other losses that may result from my voluntary participation in the

activities. I also agree not to initiate any legal action against the Local Organizing Committee

or the RoboCup Federation concerning such claims. I acknowledge that this agreement is

binding upon my heirs, executors, and administrators. I affirm that I am fully aware of the

risks involved and voluntarily agree to the terms stated herein.

RoboCup 2025 Photo, Video, and Team Material Consent

By participating in RoboCup 2025, to be held from July 15th to July 21st in Salvador, Brazil, I

agree to the following terms regarding the use of photographs, videos, and team materials

taken or produced during RoboCup 2025 from July 15th to July 21st in Salvador, Brazil:

Grant of Rights: I grant the RoboCup Federation and the Local Organizing Committee the

unrestricted right to use, publish, and distribute photographs or videos that include my

image, my robot, or any team materials. The team materials could include posters,

presentations, and promotional videos without any limitation to the modification,

reproduction, and distribution of the material in any format for purposes such as (but not

limited to) promotion, advertising, and illustration.

Use of Name: My name may be used in connection with the photographs, videos, or team

materials if RoboCup chooses.

Release of Claims: I release RoboCup and all related parties from any claims related to the

use of the photographs, videos, or team materials, including claims of privacy invasion or

defamation.

Transfer of Rights: RoboCup may sell, assign, license, or otherwise transfer the rights

granted here to any third party without further consent from me.

Warranty and Indemnification: I confirm that I have the authority to grant these rights and

will indemnify RoboCup against any legal fees or damages resulting from a breach of this

warranty.

Binding Agreement: This agreement is binding on me, my heirs, and any legal

representatives.

I acknowledge that I have read and understood this consent form and agree to its terms. I,

the undersigned, at this moment, release and discharge RoboCup and its photographers,

agents, successors, assigns, licensees, and any designees (including any agency, client,

broadcaster, periodical, or other publication) from claims and demands arising out of or in

connection with the use of such photographs, film or video, and team materials.

Data Collection and Privacy Policy Agreement

By registering for RoboCup 2025, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and use of

your personal data as described in the LGPD Privacy Policy.

I consent to the collection and processing of my personal data as necessary for my

participation in RoboCup 2025. I understand that my consent is voluntary and that I may

withdraw my consent at any time.
